GADRI held its First meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) at the Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan on 22 March 2016. The meeting was attended by 9 BoD members from 9 countries. At the meeting Prof. Andrew Collins, Director, Disaster and Development Network, Northumbria University was elected as Chair, and Charter of the GADRI was approved.
