On 10 May 2017, Mr. Guillermo Siercke, Disaster Risk Management Specialist, Global Facility for Disaster Risk Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR), The World Bank Tokyo Office, paid a courtesy call to GADRI and met with Prof. Hirokazu Tatano, Secretary-General, GADRI to discuss on possible cooperation between the two institutes. After the discussion, Mr. Siercke delivered a lecture to students and faculty of the Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University.
