The 13th International Conference of the International Society for the Integrated Disaster Risk Management will be held at the Centre of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation and Management, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India from 28 to 30 September 2023.

Specific objectives of IDRiM 2023 conference are:

• To summarize, and synthesize the science of disasters risks incorporating concurrent, compounding, and cascading hazards.
• To build a knowledge exchange platform for facilitating dialogue among researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, civil society, and local representatives of disaster risk response community.
• To suggest the best practices for risk-informed inclusive and sustainable development at multilevel and deliberate on frameworks for inclusive disaster risk policies.

Call for Papers - IDRiM2023 Special Issue
A call for papers is now open to all participants presenting at the "IDRiM2023 Conference" to be published in the IDRiM Journal Special Issue.

We especially invite papers based on work presented at the IDRiM2023 (28-30 September) from early-career scientist presenting their research in the Young Scientists Sessions (YSS).
Papers submitted may follow one of the two available publication options.
